Fort Clinton

Situated within Bear Mountain State Park in Orange County, New York, Fort Clinton is an integral part of the landscape. The West Bastion remnants of Fort Clinton can be observed along the trail that winds through Bear Mountain Zoo. Sections of the fort are located beneath the approach to the Bear Mountain Bridge, extending into the toll booth area, and on the north side of the bridge's approach road.
