STONE MUSEUM: Along the trail, visitors encounter four quaint stone museums, each with its own unique focus.

Reptile, Amphibian, and Fish Museum: This museum showcases live specimens, ranging from tiny spring peeper frogs to a six-foot black rat snake. It provides an up-close look at the region's reptile, amphibian, and fish populations.

Geology Museum: Focused on the prehistory of the Hudson Highlands, this museum explores the geological origins of the area and features exhibits related to the early iron mining industry.

Nature Study Museum: Home to historic taxidermy specimens, this museum displays small animals, including insects, birds, and mammals, offering insights into the local fauna.

History Museum: The largest of the four museums, it interprets the history of the region, covering aspects such as local Native Americans, colonists, the Revolutionary War, and the founder of the Boy Scouts, Dan Beard. The museum houses artifacts and displays that bring the history of the area to life.
